ISU AMS Meeting Minutes

Events:

Picnic-Sunday April 27 at 5:30 at Brookside Park: off of 6^th street.  Take Elwood to the north past maple willow larch and the rec.  Then turn right at the first stoplight onto 6th St. and go under the railroad bridge, then you'll see the park on your left.  Info on where in the park should be sent out tomorrow-  Food is provided.  Bring outdoor games.

School Talk:  May 14^th.  Volunteers needed.

VEISHEA:  Went well.  Got 58 tickets, so we should get about $12. 

Banner:  Department paid for it.  It looks good.

Weather Instruments:  Have been purchased-I believe are in.

Brochures:  A few have been printed, department will be printing more once final revisions are done.

Forecast Contest:  Is over.  Team finished 10^th out of 38 schools, Team top 5 finished 7^th.

Spring break presentation:  Brian Tentinger gave a presentation on the spring break trip to Florida.  It will probably be up on the website soon.
