Chapter 5.3.2 Right-moving multicell storms

• The multicell storm structure is characterized by movement directed toward the right of the mid-level air flow (Figure 5.24)

• However, individual cells often move along with the mid-level air flow (Figure 5.24)

• Low-level air flow feeds warm, moist air from the south (e.g. Gulf of Mexico)
