Characteristics of Cumulonimbus Clouds
The most violent of all clouds, can produce hail, heavy rain and winds, lightning, tornadoes and is typically, referred to as the “thunderstorm”
Vertical motions are very strong and the cloud grows to great heights (top of the troposphere), often exhibiting an anvil shaped top
