Goals:
My ultimate goal at the end of my studies is research. My current goal is
to explore different areas of meteorology and decide which one works best
for me.
Objective:
With a combination of a meteorology major degree and a geology minor
degree, I could work as a meteorologist, hydrologist, geologist,
environmental scientist, or anything else related to those two areas of
study. I'd like to hope that having that flexibility will create more
opportunities for me
later on than I would have otherwise. I also plan to get some kind of
graduate degree, so that could increase my chances of getting hired upon
final graduation. My plans after graduation are and will remain very
flexible for
some time. I don't have plans to become a broadcast meteorologist, but
everything else is fair game at this point. However, I will try to direct
whatever I go into toward my final plan, research, and hopefully that's
what I end up doing.
