Educational Goal Summary:

To pursue a major in meteorology and a minor in geology to create a well-rounded educational background and to achieve above a 3.0 grade point in meteorology and geology courses.

Chem 177L lab (1 credit): See Chem 177 above. First semester chemistry lab required by Meteorology department, required for enrollment in Chem 177.

Mteor 111 Synoptic Applications (1 credit): Meteorology requirement. Provides introduction to nomenclature, maps, etc. used by meteorologists.

Anthr 201 Intro to Cultural Anthropology (3 credits): LAS International Perspectives requirement, LAS Social Sciences requirement, pre-requisite for Anthr 322.

Lib 160 Library Instruction (.5 credit): LAS requirement, required for enrollment in the Freshman Honors Program.
